Welcome to Pitlane. This Privacy Policy explains how RR Software Group ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Pitlane mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. We take your privacy seriously and are committed to protecting your personal data.

We collect the following types of information: • Email address — when you sign up for updates via our website or create an account within the app. • Account credentials — if you register with email and password or sign in with Apple, we store authentication data securely via Firebase Authentication. • Track day data — information you enter into the app, including sessions, lap notes, car setup profiles, maintenance records, and packing lists. This data is stored securely and associated with your account. • Device information — device type, operating system version, and app version may be collected automatically by Firebase as part of its core SDK to help improve compatibility and performance. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We use the information we collect to: • Provide, maintain, and improve the Service. • Send you product updates and announcements (only if you opted in). • Authenticate your account and keep it secure. • Analyse usage patterns to improve features and fix bugs. • Respond to support requests. • Comply with legal obligations.

We use the following third-party services which may process your data: • Firebase (Google LLC) — used for authentication, database storage (Cloud Firestore), and analytics. Firebase processes data in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. Data may be stored on servers in the United States and European Economic Area. • RevenueCat — used to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat may collect purchase history and subscription status. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. While signed in, you can delete your account from the Profile tab in the Pitlane app; your account and associated personal data are removed as part of that process, except where limited retention is required by law. If you request account deletion by contacting us instead (for example if you cannot access the app), we will process your request within 30 days.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: • Right of access — you can request a copy of the data we hold about you. • Right of rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data. • Right of erasure — you can delete your account from the Profile tab in the Pitlane app while signed in, or request deletion by contacting us. • Right to data portability — you can request your data in a portable format. • Right to object — you can object to certain types of data processing. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. All data transmitted between the app and our servers is encrypted using TLS. Account passwords are never stored in plain text.

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
